November Meetups and Such

leave a comment

Our next Student Group meeting is November 10th, High Noon, in the Bagwell Lobby. I will be bringing actual news on upcoming events, and I want YOUR suggestions and ideas for what events YOU want to see next Spring!
(If you can’t make it, since we all got school and work, you can still send me ideas you’d like to see happen next Spring. Spam me!)

(For Officers only: I want all of you to meet with me at Don Gallo’s on November 10th, around 6:30, for a quick meetup to discuss all the Super-Important-Top-Secret-Elitist stuff we talk about at Officer meetings :) )

A quick reminder to ALL CGT Design students,

If you, like me, have Portfolio class this Fall, remember to bring your “body of work” to the first class meeting. Portfolio classes start Next Friday, November 11th. Check your schedules and don’t be late!

If you have any questions regarding membership, AIGA, or any upcoming events, feel free to drop any of us an email!

If you have joined our ranks, and have not yet received your FREE AIGA T-Shirt, let me know so I can give you one!

May the CMD+S be with you,

AIGA Student Group

Call for Entries

HOW’s longest-running design competition (launched in 1988), this is the only awards program to specifically recognize outstanding promotional work—whether it’s a self-promo to showcase a design firm’s capabilities, a project that touts a client’s goods or services, an announcement for a major life event or a student résumé or portfolio. HOW’s Promotion Design Awards celebrates design work that’s engaging, memorable and effective at moving the viewer toward action.
