“America and the Freedom of Choice” “JOKE!!!”

Posted in Thoughts on October 22, 2010 by Dustin Womack

America the beautiful!  America is a wonderful place, full of every culture that one can think of. The melting pot, I believe best describes this country seeing how it consists of any culture that one could think of .  The government for the most part has and will continue to support the people that make up this great nation. On a religious aspect of things, and thinking how the government is ran is a bit ridiculous, and overwhelming to say the least. A country in which same sex marriage is looked upon as if it is a non curable disease. A disease that is spreading, and the generation of today is beginning to look gayer than ever. Not because any thing as really changed besides the fact that this generation is more open minded and comfortable with same sex relationships. These people who choose to be with a same sex partner are no different that a normal person trying to live his or her  life to the fullest with great expectations, goals that they hope to fulfill. It is almost disgusting how the American people, and government are at a peace of mind with the fact that our country is blockading the right to be happy. This christian based government has made the Holy Bible seem to be the law, if the bible says it is no good then we can not allow it. If this statement is the case then remove everything that harms your body from stores nation wide take, make it illegal to smoke, drink, or eat yourself into a state obesity, these things are not allowed in the Holy Bible, so make it illegal. The fact that one you turn a certain age in this country you are considered an adult and are allowed to do whatever you please to the extent of the law, why not be able to choose the partner and sexual orientation that make one happy.

“GaGa’s Crazy Out-landish Style”

Posted in Thoughts on September 20, 2010 by Dustin Womack

Lady GaGa’s style is one of the most controversial in the music business.  Lady GaGa is a very successful musician that strikes everyone’s attention with her outlandish choice of style.  Her passion for wearing diverse types of headgear is something that sets her apart from the others. The fact that she wore a entire outfit made of meat to the 2010 Video Music Awards, was nothing more than a statement of her controversial style. This highly known and intriguing musician can be found more times without pants than with. As crazy as GaGa’s style may be, the fact that she strives to turn controversy into a statement of her own personality.

Boston Fans in Up roar.

Posted in Thoughts on September 20, 2010 by Dustin Womack

Boston Celtics fans are at complete discontentment due to a resent trade for former Los Angeles Laker, Shaquille O’Neal.  The Boston Fans were out raged that the former rival would soon be playing on their home court, only months after losing the championship title to the Lakers. The long standing rivalry between the two teams, the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers, has made this corporate choice something of a hypocritical democracy, in the eyes of the Celtic fans that is.  It seems in the nation of sports, and in this case professional basketball the Boston Celtic fans are taking this subject to a serious notion. Fans make sports, without the cheering fans the sports world would diminish; in which saying the sports program, in this case the Boston Celtics, should do what is appropriate for the program to be successful.

“Bad Paragraph”

Posted in Thoughts on September 20, 2010 by Dustin Womack

A 2005 Heisman trophy winner and now current running back for the New Orleans Saints, Reggie Bush, a great but now a no one.  This now worldwide known NFL super star seems to be causing a tidal wave of investigations throughout the NCAA.  Reggie Bush in some opinion was the greatest running back to have ever played and the University of Southern California.  Now due to speculations of Bush accepting gifts from many sports marketers, the super star may be erased from the history books as one of the greats to ever play football at this University, nor history that his college sports career ever existed.  Once a great and now stripped of ever even being known as one of the greatest players in the sport of college football.

The Reggie Bush Scandal!

Posted in Thoughts on September 13, 2010 by Dustin Womack

The NCAA has many rules and regulations; some took on a greater level of seriousness than others. In the case of the Reggie Bush scandal, the NCAA has zero tolerance. The NCAA takes such violations as a slap in the face. In this case Reggie Bush has accepted over 290,000 dollars in gifts from sports marketers. After going to the NFL Reggie had an opportunity to repay the marketers, but being selfish he refused. Refusing to pay the men back caused an up roar of lawsuits; in which made this case public. When the NCAA heard about this and the amount of attention that it was receiving there was no other choice but to take the necessary actions toward Reggie Bush.

Taking charge would be an understatement if one was to ask Reggie Bush his opinion. The NCAA is taking something from this well-known super star, something that every college football player dreams of, the Heisman trophy.  The Heisman trophy is the greatest achievement for any college football player. This trophy is not the only thing that the NCAA is trying to remove from Reggie Bush. In the year 2004 Reggie Bush and the University of Southern California, won the NCAA national championship. Now that the NCAA is taking charge in this case, both Reggie Bush and the University of Southern California will be removed of ever earning this title. Every single athletic accomplishment that Reggie Bush earned while playing at this university will be removed from the history books forever.  Actions will not only be limited to ones that have created them, but will have effects on the ones associated as well.
