The Semester thus far and Assembly Languages

Hey everyone it’s Evan again!

The semester thus far is going great! The class is a lot of fun! Going into the class i thought i knew a lot about computers, but the was a lot of stuff that i didn’t know!

Dr. Brown is doing a great job of explaining everything about a computer from software to hardware and even the basics of programming a computer!

This week we learned about assembly languages, and Dr. Brown has given us an Assembly Language Generator to work with which was a lot of fun!

The Generator has helped a tremendous amount in explaining the fundamentals of assembly languages and how they are written.

I have a feeling that at the end of the semester I will have no more questions ever again about how something in or on a computer is supposed to work or how it is set up all thanks to Dr. Brown!

Well I will see you all again next week!

Evan.

After the motherboard is attached im going to put the hard drive in, after the hard drive is the cd drive. Now to plug in the firewire usb and sata cables. After all that its time for the power supply. Now we hook all the power wires up.

I chose all of the parts i did because i wanted to build a computer for gaming.

All About Me

My name is Evan Davis and this is my 2nd semester at Pellissippi. I am majoring in computer science with a concentration in programming. I love to play soccer. I was on the Hardin Valley Academy soccer team, but unfortunately i quit the year before the team won the state championship. I have a pretty long relationship with computers beginning from when i was a kid. I have always been interested in computers and always wanted to know how to program. When I was younger i attempted to learn how to program on my own but it did not turn out too well. I am now taking programming classes as to major in it and hopefully get a good career as a programmer in the future. In high school i took a web essentials class where we learned to create and edit web pages.

Well that is a look at my life with computers!

See you all next week!
