The final night we went on tour of Paris VIA boat. We went under some famous bridges, such as Pont Neuf

One of the oldest bridges in Paris:Pont Neuf. I really liked seeing all the young people and couples hang out along the Seine River.

My favorite Eiffel Tower picture

At the carousel across the street from Eiffel Tower. Reminded me of my childhood when I had my bedroom decked out like a carousel

Riding on the metro:public transportation for geniuses(bc you must be a genius to figure this system out!)

Cluny Museum-most famous Middle Ages museum

La Dame & L'Unicorne-The lady and the unicorn. These 6 tapestries represent the 5 senses. One tapestry has a deeper, overall message of avoiding materialism.

Sacre Coeur(Sacred Heart) in Montmartre

Our group listening to Jessica B.'s presentation on Sacre Coeur-she and Nicole chose two sites to make presentations on as part of their class project

A stroll through Montmartre-this neighborhood is famous for artists and musicians, such as Edith Piaf who got her start singing in these very streets

Imagine a street filled with portrait artists

Totally beats Baskin Robbins

Facing Rue Gabrielle- oh look our teacher Colleen Hayes!

Outside Saint Chappelle

Every story in the Bible is depicted here in stained glass

Saint Chappelle originally housed the relics from the Passion(such as the crown of thorns). These relics are now housed in Notre Dame cathedral

Paris @ Point zero: good luck if you throw change down and walk across

During the French Revolution, Notre Dame housed saltpeter. When the Revolution ended Notre Dame was in grave condition and in danger of being condemned.Victor Hugo saved the cathedral by writing The Hunchback of Notre Dame in order to spark public interest. The book was a success and Notre Dame was saved and renovated.
