Unfortunately– I somehow over looked, or forgot about, this blog entry. Honestly do not know which..

I do have  a few thoughts and first impressions of Pausch and Alice so, I’m going to write this blog late, reguardless of missed points. The video of Randy Pausch seemed very bittersweet. He was so accomplished and it was really quite amazing to see how positive, admirable, and selfless he could be given the hand he was dealt in life. He recongnized his life as a full and complete journey-bravo that.

I’m not a big gamer type of person. I quite like the old school NES with Tetris and Super Mario Bros. it’s simple easy fun. So, my first thoughts on Alice were, lol, “well, here we gooo..”  Soon, I realized after hours of sitting at the computer that one task is  many tasks combined that require continuous testing to get the slightest of results. The program itself seems slow and buggy to me. Things that seem like they should work or would be easy to accomplish take a lot of thought and trial/error.

Alice…has definately been an eye-opening experience of the amount of work it takes to experience the life of a programmer.

Cheers.
