2014 Honors in Action theme chosen!

March 16, 2014

The 2014 Honors in Action Topic of “Frontiers and the Spirit of Exploration” was broken down into 9 themes. Using a survey emailed to the chapter members, anonymous answers were collected and the theme with the most answers was selected to be this years theme of interest. That theme was:

Theme 4: EXPLORING THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT: What frontiers of the natural environment inspire exploration?

Our next step in the Honors in Action journey is to begin researching that theme and trying to answer the main question.

What frontiers inspire you to explore?

What books about that frontier or that mode of exploration would you recommend reading to gain more insight?

What about TV shows or documentaries?

If you have a suggestion for research, or a book/tv show/movie/documentary that the chapter might be interested in, please email it to me ( and it will be added to the suggestion list.
