Their speeches moved me to tears and the Crystal High gave us a very welcoming reception! The Langa township was an awesome experience, we got to see cultural practices such as the cooking of sheep heads and the visit inside the apartment really put into perspective what life in Langa is like. Both township excursions have been eye-opening and inspiring. It was such a priviledge to have a tour of the township by someone who actually lives there as well as being welcomed into someones home. This entire South Africa trip has been amazing, educational, and life-changing.
