Konomark – a new way to be friendly with your intellectual property
The konomark is a symbol – a circle with a pineapple in it – that lets visitors to your website know that you are generally willing to share your copyrighted content, such as photos, educational materials, music, etc., with folks like yourself, for free. The konomark is an invitation to e-mail you and ask you for permission.

Hi, Audrey! How does this compare with Creative Commons? Replacement? Along with? Not sure.
Thanks!

Donn – Kronomark is not a license but a symbol showing your willing to share. In fact, if someone contacts you about something you already have under a CC license, you might even be willing to share that object beyond the limits of the CC license. So, I guess it goes along with the CC option.
