Here are some tips/tricks to use to make your Windows desktop appearance as unique as you are.
First, some terminology:

You can move the Taskbar to the top, bottom, right or left of your monitor screen.
Simply
click anywhere in the blank part of the bar, hold the mouse button down
and drag the bar to where you want to to relocate.
Release the mouse button and there you are.
Add the “My Documents” folder to the taskbar for quick access to frequently used files.
- Right click on the Toolbar and select “Toolbars – New Toolbar” from the menu.
- From the popup window, select the My Documents folder and click OK
You can resize the toolbar and see its contents by click on the left bar or right arrows of the newly created toolbar. (See below)

Add frequently used programs to the QuickLaunch toolbar
- Locate the program you wish to add.
- Click and hold down the left mouse button and drag the icon to the toolbar.
- You can remove them by right clicking on their icon on the Toolbar and choosing “Delete” from the popup menu.
If your programs are not in alphabetical order under the Start Menu, you can change that easily:
- Click on the Start Button
- Choose Programs
- Place your cursor over any program and press the right mouse button
- Select “Sort by Name” from the popup menu and release the button
- The programs are now listed in alphabetical order.
