How do you use your cell phone camera?

In most “all-in-one” devices, the owner finds that they do “all” things okay but not all of them are that great.
Cell phones are fast becoming “all-in-ones” as well. And the cameras in most cell phones leave a lot to be desired. However, short of glamour photography, there are lots of uses for a camera that is in your pocket with images ready to be seen again. Some ideas for using camera phones:
- Snapping a photo of a label of some food/drink you want to try again when you don’t have a way to write it down. Using a service like Evernote also can work with that to grab those labels and turn them into text.
- Grabbing an image of the location of your car in a huge parking lot (like at an airport) so you can locate it upon return
- Taking a picture of the hardware/plumbing/electrical problem or broken part before you head out to the hardware or supply store to get that part or solve that problem. Showing the photo to the staff often helps speed things up and save return trips.
- Snapping a pic of a whiteboard, chalkboard or other screen after a productive work session or even of notes after a lecture
- Grabbing a photo and sending it to someone of an item in a store to get an opinion or ask if they would like it for a gift
- Just taking photos of your pets, kids, spouse, etc to have a virtual photo gallery always handy when you want the comfort of family around you.
What other uses for a cell phone camera do you have??
