Deadlines and Fee Board

Hello, Pellissippi!  This is a reminder that the deadline to drop classes without a “W” and for a 75% refund.

Also, we are still needing volunteers for student-at-large representatives for Fee Board.  Fee Board reviews and allocates fee funds to registered student organizations for their programs and actitivites.  To qualify, you must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be enrolled for at least 6 hours, and not be affiliated with a club.  Applicants must also be available from 4-5:30 9/6, 9/13/ 10/11, 11/8, and 12/6.  The names of applicants who qualify will go into a drawing and be randomly selected to serve on Fee Board.  You will be notified by e-mail whether you were selected or not. Applications by 9/8 at midnight.  Here’s a link to the online application:

Spots are still available on Fee Board for club representatives.  If you are interested in one of these spots, please speak to your club advisor.

Voice Out! Fall 2012

Howdy everyone, and welcome to another year at Pellissippi!  My name is Corey Singletary and I have been elected to be your COSA (Council of Student Advocates) Student Liason this year.  One of our goals in COSA and Student Life this year is to increase student involvement  and awareness.  We want to hear from you what you want to be done, what you think we can be doing better as a school and, hopefully, what we’re doing well.  We will have Voice Out forms in the Student Life office (Goins 141) as well as our Student Life events throughout the school year.  Your constructive criticism is welcomed and needed!  My office hours are MWF from 10-2, and I can be reached through the Voice Out e-mail, I look forward to serving PSCC this year and helping to make it a better place!

Our first official Voice Out event for Fall 2012 will be on Wednesday, October 24th in the McWherter and Alexander buildings from 10:30am-1:30 pm.

Please come out and “Voice Out” your likes, dislikes, questions, or concerns about Pellissippi campus life.  Student Life will be handing out free food, and I’ll be there listening to your questions and concerns.  If you are unable to come to “Voice Out” you may post your comments on this page!
